This blog is about being a companion to a macaw, I have learned so much! Phoenix Baloo is a beautiful blue and gold macaw who will be 20 years old in October. She is a very intelligent bird.She is not a pet! We rescued her through Metro Denver Parrot Rescue as a companion for me. But I am really a companion to her! She is loved and loves us too!
